Pilar Martinez-Dix is the District of Summerland’s first winner of the Road Warrior trophy, made out of old bike parts, and provided by Upcycle Bike company.

Pilar rides her bike with her bicycle-pool buddy to the Summerland Research Station, across the railway trestle. She submitted a photo of herself riding across the trestle to win bragging rights for being Summerland’s first Road Warrior.

She is pictured here with other Go By Bike winners in this year’s Fall Encouragement Campaign from October 21- November 3.
