2024 Fall GoByBike Weeks in Whistler: Everything you need to know

Register and commit to ride anytime between September 23 and October 6, 2024.

Whistler GoByBike Week is an initiative aimed at promoting biking as a sustainable and healthy mode of transportation. Participants are encouraged to bike to work, school, or for daily errands during the two week-long event from September 23 to October 6, 2024. Hosted by AWARE in collaboration with the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and Go By Bike BC Society, the event celebrates community engagement and eco-friendly commuting. Whistler has been an enthusiastic participant in GoByBike Week over the years, witnessing a significant turnout among the biking community and attracting new riders.

To participate, simply register for free at gobybikebc.ca and log your bike trips throughout the two weeks. Any trip counts: Ride to work, on errands or for fun! By participating, you contribute to reducing emissions and promoting physical activity. Registered participants also have the chance to win exciting prizes from both local and provincial sponsors.

In addition to the main event, various games and events are planned, such as celebration stations, a scavenger hunt, and a new bike and save initiative. It’s not only an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Whistler’s landscapes but also to make a positive impact on the environment and personal well-being through cycling.

So let’s GoByBike, Whistler!
