2019 Bike to School Week | 2019 Bike to Work Week

Tofino

2019 Bike to Work & School Week Runs May 27 - June 2 BC-wide!

Welcome to Bike to Work & School Week Tofino 2019.

For those of you who haven’t got your bike on the road yet this year, now is the time! Many locations in our small town are within biking distance, and you'll find that the fresh air on the way to your destination feels great. Our bike friendly Multi-Use-Path connects down town Tofino all the way out to Cox Bay, eliminating biking on the side of the highway. We encourage everyone to get on their bike as much as they can this week, with the longer, brighter days that are here, there's really no excuse not to!

Make sure to sign your team up and record your daily trips. There's an opportunity to win prizes.

Remember, you can’t be sad while riding a bicycle. :)

Register NOW for your chance to WIN one of many great prizes, including a Trip for 2 & Cycling Adventure through Italy's Prosecco Hills Sponsored by Exodus Travels!

How to Register:

Cyclists

  • The beginning of the cycling season is a good time to tune up your bike. Perform regular maintenance and safety checks yourself or take your bike to a qualified bike mechanic to prevent mechanical breakdown.
  • Plan your route before you set off, give yourself plenty of time and choose bike lanes and paths whenever possible. If you’re new to cycling, choose routes with less traffic.
