GoByBike Happenings
Today is the start of the Fall GoByBike campaign! There are lots of GoByBike activities to take part in over the next couple of weeks
-Ride on the new Pemberton bike path. This path connects the highway underpass bike route to downtown Squamish.
-Ride the Corridor trail at dawn or dusk to see the new lighting in action!
-Use some of OurSquamish’s new bike racks around town. My favourite is at Pemberton and Second. They have one rack left, take a picture, and let them know where it should be @oursquamish
-Come to the Bike Tune Up Station on October 3rd at Brennan Park between 10:30am and 1:30pm.
-Send your fall biking tips to @squamish_can. What do you do to stay safe and comfortable riding in the fall? If you need some Fall riding gear, stop by one of our local sponsor shops – Commencal, Evolve or Specialized, and ask about the wet and fall riding gear.
-Ride by Tall Tree Bakery (Wednesday – Sunday) for some delicious baked good and get a discount.
-On Friday, October 1st The United Way will be hosting a Station. Time and location to be announced.
-Encourage your GoByBike teammates to ride and log their rides! It takes a bit of encouragement to get out in the rain. Remember, the team with the most riders and rides will be crowned the 2021 Fall GoByBike Team Champions!
