New Bike Maps Now Available
As you all know by now, February 12th is Winter GoByBike Day. It is a chance to get the winter rust off your bike, and reacquaint yourself with the bike routes around town. To help with that, the District of Squamish is has a new Bike Map. It is available for free at the Squamish Library, the Adventure Centre, or at your local bike shop.
Remember that any ride on February 12th can be logged, and logging a ride makes you eligible for prizes from GoByBikeBC. There is also a team challenge to win a free neckwarmer if you missed out on them earlier. Here’s how to enter:
- Grab your colleagues, friends, family members, bike bubble buddies, neighbours, etc.
- Register your team for Winter GoByBike Day on Feb. 12, here’s how to Create a Team.
- Teammates commit to log their kilometers biked on Feb. 12. Any rides and all kilometers count.
- Post a photo of your team (or a collage of your team members or a screenshot of your last zoom meeting, or .. ) on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and make sure to tag us – @gobybikebc – before the event.
