Celebrate the 30th Annual GoByBike Week in Nanaimo: June 2-9!
Join us for a week of biking fun and community engagement! Whether you’re an avid cyclist or just getting started, GoByBike Week has something for everyone. Enjoy free giveaways and daily prizes, and be part of making Nanaimo a greener, healthier place.
Kick-off Bike Drive
- Sunday, June 2: Start the week at Maffeo Sutton Park. Bring a used bike to donate and enjoy free pizza. Connect with local vendors and discover new bike services in Nanaimo. We will also have some Evolve E-bikes to demo around for free!
Pride Parade
- Sunday, June 9: Ride in the Pride Parade with us! Meet early to decorate your bike. Scan the QR code for more details and to register for free!
Celebration Stations
- Monday, June 3: Metral Drive at Mostar Road, 7:30-9:30 am
- Tuesday, June 4: Lower Colliery Dam, 4-6 pm
- Wednesday, June 5: E&N at Giggleswick Place (across from Tim Hortons), 7:30-9:30 am
- Thursday, June 6: Stevie Smith Bike Park, 4-6 pm
- Friday, June 7: Front Street at Museum Way (across from the Port Theatre), 4-6 pm
- Saturday, June 8: Westwood Lake Beach, 3-5 pm
