Webinar: Adaptive Cycling: From Rare to Everywhere

Date: Jun 6, 2024 Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Webinar sponsored by the Spinal Cord Injury BC

What is adaptive cycling/handcycling and who does it? Why don’t we see more people using adaptive bikes on our roads and trails? Come learn about the innovative bikes and programs that are getting more people with physical disabilities cycling, and how you can help make cycling more inclusive.

This webinar will feature Jocelyn Maffin, an avid handcyclist who believes everyone should have a bike. Jocelyn helped launch BC’s first adaptive cycling club as part of her work at Spinal Cord Injury BC and she’s working to make adaptive cycling more accessible for people who want to ride all over the province.
