Lake Country Celebration Station: Bike Fun & Prizes Await!

Everyone is welcome to stop by the Celebration Station in Lake Country at Swalwell Park (10090 Bottom Wood Lake Rd) on Wednesday, June 5 from 7:30am to 9:30am.  Say hello to bike experts from Lake Country Cycle and Pedego Oyama to learn more about how to service your bike or choose a bike that is right for your needs and interests. Find out about bike clinics and trail rides to develop your skills.  Learn about the new Mountain Bike Park being developed in Lake Country. Chat with Okanagan Rail Trail volunteers to find out more about rail trail amenities, cycling etiquette, and opportunities to help out as trail ambassadors or stewards to stay active and get involved. Register and log your kilometres during GoByBike Week whether it is riding to work, school, around the community for shopping and errands, to visit friends, or just to be more active and enjoy outdoor recreation. Get in the habit of choosing active transportation rather than depending on using a vehicle to get around the community. And did we mention WIN PRIZES?  Everyone attending the Celebration Station in Lake Country can pick up some treats and get entered to win prizes.
