Cranbrook “Bike to School” Challenge!

The annual Cranbrook Schools Cycling Challenge starts on Monday, May 29th! Which elementary school and high/middle school will win their respective trophy? The challenge is on to triumph over the 2022 Champions – Kootenay Orchards Elementary and Parkland Middle School. We are super excited to see how many students (& staff) will be riding their bikes to school this week – let’s fill up the streets with young cyclists! (Please use a scooter if you don’t have a bicycle)”WIN a BIKE” – Each day a student rides their bike to school from May 29th-Jun 1st they receive a ballot to enter a draw for a new bicycle in the “Win a Bike” draw – sponsored by Gericks Sport Shop (Elementary) and Northstar Bicycle Company (High/Middle). The draw will take place on Sunday June 1st at the GoByBike CYCLEBRATION at the College of the Rockies.

**Motorists are asked to be extra vigilant as you travel around town during the school arrival and dismissal hours.**
