Be Part of the Movement: Bring GoByBike to Your Community
At GoByBike BC, we believe that when communities come together to celebrate and encourage cycling, incredible things happen — for our health, our environment, and our sense of connection. We’re the provincial charity behind GoByBike Week and other active transportation initiatives, and we work hand-in-hand with local champions to make these events happen across British Columbia.
Each year, we partner with municipalities, Indigenous communities, cycling clubs, schools, regional districts, and passionate individuals to support the delivery of local cycling events and campaigns. These local leaders — known as Community Coordinators — are the heart of the GoByBike movement. They bring energy, creativity, and local knowledge to ensure events reflect the unique spirit and needs of their communities.
We’re proud to support our growing network of Community Coordinators with the tools and resources they need to succeed, including:
- Training & Resources – Orientation sessions and how-to guides to get you started and keep you inspired
- Event Grants – Funding to support community events, including Celebration Stations, ride challenges, and more
- Marketing Support – Ready-to-use materials and customizable assets to help you spread the word locally
- Insurance Coverage – Access to liability insurance for approved events
- Province-Wide Promotion – Your events listed on our platform and promoted through our social media and newsletters
- Ongoing Support – A responsive, friendly team to answer questions and help you make the most of your efforts
Whether you’re in a large city, a small town, or a rural area, GoByBike can be tailored to fit your community. Together, we can get more people riding bikes — for transportation, for fun, for well-being, and for the planet.
